Discussion <br />Engineering Consultant, TKDA, has submitted a proposal to perform project planning, design <br />and construction administration. TKDA has managed projects for Arden Hills recently related to <br />the water infrastructure and has provided the City with valuables services. City staff recommends <br />approval of the PSA as Attachment A. <br />Budget Impact <br />The current amount included in the draft 2024-2028 CIP is $250,000. Staff is recommending <br />increasing the budget to $350,000 for this project to account for desired security options and the <br />consulting fees related to the scope of work, with the funding source being the water utility fund. <br />Staff will be pursuing the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant program to assist in <br />funding the selected security improvements. <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: PSA TKDA <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
