The Admin department will be <br />responsible for publishing the City's newsletter, the Arden Hills Notes. <br />Scope: <br />This policy is intended to guide staff and the Council on how the City's newsletter should be <br />created from start to finish. The lead communications person on staff is intended to enforce these <br />policies and procedures to ensure the successful creation and distribution of each edition of the <br />City newsletter. <br />Volume: <br />The City will produce ten (10) editions of the newsletter each year. Each edition will generally <br />range from 4-10 pages in total. The following list includes the order of each edition: <br />1. January/February <br />2. March <br />3. April <br />4. May <br />5. June <br />6. July <br />7. August/September <br />8. October <br />9. November <br />10. December <br />Topic Guidelines: <br />In order to maintain a non -partisan newsletter, topic submissions that are partisan or political, <br />that advocate for or against one position or another politically, that advocate for or against any <br />political candidate, whether a national, state, or local candidate, or advocate for or against any <br />religious or fraternal group or organization is prohibited. <br />Topic Submissions: <br />Topic requests are submitted to the City Administrator and the Senior Communications <br />Coordinator.
