The Mister Car Wash development team met with City staff on November 20, <br />2023 to discuss a proposal to redevelop the existing, closed Arby's restaurant into a new and <br />modern, express tunnel car wash, a plan that will be in harmony with the neighboring development <br />occurring on Lexington Avenue, and be developed in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan and <br />City Zoning Ordinances. <br />The proposed redevelopment site is approximately 1.25 acres and will remain under the current <br />Service Business District (B3) zoning. Mister Car Wash proposes to construct an approximately <br />4,700± square foot conveyor -type, stand-alone express car wash building with the redevelopment <br />including parking, landscaping, utilities, stormwater management, vacuum equipment, signage, and <br />lighting to support the proposed project.
