Mr. Brown replied it served both cul-de-sacs, <br /> <br />Council Member Larson stated he believed if these were public streets and the <br />stormwater drained to the pond, the City should maintain the pond. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown stated for a relatively low investment, the City could improve this <br />pond. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst asked if the City had an easement to get access to the pond. Mr. <br />Brown stated they would need to work with the homeowner about obtaining an <br />easement. He indicated they would not want to do this unless the homeowner <br />agreed to it. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst urged the City obtain an easement from the homeowners as a <br />reasonable trade-off with the homeowners. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst closed the public hearing at 7:30 p,m. <br /> <br />Council Member Larson asked if this would be a pennanent easement. Mayor <br />Probst indicated that was correct. He indicated this would allow the City to <br />maintain and have access to the pond more easily. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Aplikowski moved and Council Member Larson <br />seconded a motion to accept Resolution No, 02-23, Ordering <br />Improvement and Preparation of Plans and Specifications for <br />Improvement of Hunters Court and Waldon Place, The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0), <br /> <br />Mayor Probst stated the City would need to obtain a permanent easement to get to <br />the pond, <br />
