<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />JUNE lO, 2002 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />agreement with the District for Council's consideration. Mr. Parrish reviewed the <br />proposed agreement and asked for Council's comments, <br /> <br />Mayor Probst inquired about the funding of the $60,000,00, Mr. Post replied it <br />would come out of the Stormwater Utility Fund. It would have no impact on the <br />General Fund. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant asked where the reference was to pond number one, Mr. <br />Parrish replied they would need to look at that. He stated he was not sure where <br />that was at this point. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant asked of the II ponds, which one related to Valentine <br />Park. Mr. Parrish replied he did not have that information with him this evening, <br />but would look into that. <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch replied it was listed as number 4. Council Member Grant reiterated he <br />wanted to see Valentine Park preserved and not used entirely as a stormwater <br />. retention pond, <br /> <br />After further discussion, Council concurred to proceed with the Stormwater Plan <br />as presented, <br /> <br />8. OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />The Director of Operations and Maintenance Moore explained the City did not <br />have a cement mixer. He indicated previously a cement mixer had been rented or <br />the work performed by hand, He reviewed the ilmnediate projects that the mixer <br />could be used for. He recommended purchasing a cement mixer for the purchase <br />price of $2,400.00, which would come from the water, sewer, and surface water <br />management Enterprise Funds. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member Grant seconded <br />a motion to approve the purchase of a cement mixer for a cost not to <br />exceed $2,400,00. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />. <br />
