<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES <br />JULY 15,2002 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />stated he wanted to understand the budgetary impact of the proposed maintenance <br />facility. He said he felt any Council Member should be able to request information <br />from staff at any time without a 3/2 vote by the Council to do so. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst said he respectfully disagreed, and did not want to see staff <br />experiencing five separate requests for information at any given time. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant thanked staff for the blinds installed in the Council <br />Chambers. He requested any information left at Council Members residences <br />should have a cover memorandum attached. He inquired as to the status of the <br />LRA report, further stating that when Operations and Maintenance Superintendent <br />Jim Perron was promoted, the intention was an adjustment is made, and he <br />proposed it be retroactive. He thanked the Administrator for the recap of the water <br />problem at City Hall. <br /> <br />Administrator Lynch stated that Rochon was asked to have the landscapers stop <br />work on the City Hall project because they were out of compliance with the <br />contract. <br /> <br />Council Member Larson explained the newly appointed Fire Board would meet <br />Wednesday, July 17 to appoint a new chief. He said Roger Aiken was appointed to <br />the Rice Creek Watershed and expressed an interest in why the management plan <br />did not have arsenal property noted. <br /> <br />Director Parrish said TCAAP was excluded for the lack of a plan. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski requested a calendar of upcoming meetings. <br /> <br />Council Member Rem stated an unfinished issue was the development of the <br />employee performance review form. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst said the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners approved the <br />budget discussion of design concepts for the maintenance facility. He asked staff <br />to find out if the County has a scheduled approach to "scale up" the design. He <br />stated the proposed budget for Lake Johanna Fire Department budget increases are <br />due to the hiring of the chief. He reviewed agenda for the Washington D.C. <br />TCAAP meetings. <br />
