Livable Communities Award - Roger Williams <br /> <br />Mr. Williams presented a Livable Communities Award to the City of Arden Hills <br />in the amount of $75,000 for TCAAP planning. <br /> <br />5. COMMUNITY SERVICE <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />DSU Scope of Services <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish stated the Council had previously directed staff to issuc a Request for <br />Qualifications (RPQ) to various planning firms to providc land use and <br />infrastructure planning scrvices for TCAAP. Based on that direction, an RFQ was <br />issued and three finalists were interviewed by a selection committee. The selection <br />committec chose a team lead by Dahlgren, Shardlow, and Uban (DSU). Mr. <br />Parrish reviewed the Scope of Services Agreement and recommended Council <br />direct staff to execute the Agreement and rccommend an advisory panel be <br />established. <br /> <br />John Shardlow of Dahlgren, Shardlow, and Uban summarized the key <br />characteristics and various phases of the process. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst requested one or both reprcscntatives from the colleges [Bethel & <br />Northwestern], represcntatives of the business cOlmnunity, citizens, and a <br />representative rr011l Representative McCollum's office be invited to serve on the <br />commi ttee. <br />
