<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />AUGUST 12,2002 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />He said he would rather sec the money spent on the design of Hazelnut Park and in <br />that proccss, come up with idcas for other stmetures in other parks, as well. <br /> <br />Mr. Straumann replied it was the intent to come back to the Council with a more <br />detailed site analysis for all City parks. <br /> <br />Council Member Larson asked what the priority was for each park. <br /> <br />Mr. Straumann replied Hazelnut Park was the third priority, with Perry Park being <br />first priority and Valentinc Park being second priority. <br /> <br />Ms. Thompson stated they had reevaluated these priorities, and felt that based on <br />the needs and usage of Perry Park, it should be addressed first. She stated <br />Valentine Park was sccond priority also based on needs and usage. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Grant moved and Council Member Larson seconded <br />a motion to authorize the selection of Hagen, Christcnsen and <br />McIlwain Architects to develop a master plan and concept design for <br />the park facilities in the City of Arden Hills at a cost not to exceed <br />$30,000 with the funding to be taken out for the Park Fund. The <br />motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />C. Award Bid: 2002 Sanitary & Water <br /> <br />Mr. Brown stated Visu-Sewer Clean and Seal, Inc. submitted the low bid with a <br />total base bid amount of $246,435.50. The low bid was approximately $10,000 <br />less than the Engineer's estimate and reflected a competitive bid in the current <br />marketplace. Mr. Brown recommended the award of the 2002 Sanitary Sewer and <br />Watermain Rehabilitation to Visu-Sewer Clean and Seal, Inc. for the total amount <br />of $246,435.50. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member Aplikowski <br />seconded a motion to award the 2002 Sanitary Sewer and Watermain <br />Rehabilitation to Visu-Sewer Clean and Seal, Inc. for the total amount <br />of $246,435.50. The motion canied unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Award Bid: 2002 Storm Drainage <br />
