Mr. Benke encouraged participation at the Coalition Summit for an opportunity to share thoughts with neighborhood communities. Council Member Aplikowski asked if funding for this issue was going to stem from Cities. Mr. Benke answered that if the Coalition could not manage the outcomes, they would need to scale back on the solutions. 2.B Design Center Final Community Dialogue Presentation -POSTPONED . 2.C TCAAP Master Planning Advisory Panel Director of Community Services Parrish presented an overview of the TCAAP Master Planning Advisory Panel. Mr. John Shardlow said the Advisory Panel does not supercede the Planning Commission, and they were planning on conducting seven meetings. He suggested the Council, as it approached the appointments, think about it as an opportunity to grow in community leadership, and stress the vital educational factor. He noted the process was designed to support the City Council's ideas. Administrator Lynch stated two groups which could be ineluded in the choices for panel participants were representatives from Northwestern College and Bethel College. He also suggested a representative from the public safety agencies may be appointed, as well. . The Council Members suggested appointing representatives from the Arden Hills small business owner community, Audubon Society, Guidant (not an Arden Hills resident) Chamber of Commerce, and Commissioner Bennett.
