PAUL HOLIDAY INN NORTH, 1201 WEST COUNTY ROAD E <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDERJROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order a regular <br />City Council meeting at 6:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Dennis Probst, Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, David Grant, <br />Gregg Larson, and Lois Rem. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Also present were City Administrator, Joe Lynch; Public Works Director, Dwayne <br />Stafford; City Accountant, Terrance Post; Planner, Jennifer Chaput; Parks and Recreation <br />Director, Thomas Moore; Recreation Program Supervisor, Michelle Olson; Public Works <br />Maintenance employees, Fred Reed and Mike McKinney; Parks Maintenance employees, <br />Fred Bell and Scott Freyberger; Receptionist, Pam Sweeney; Senior Accounting Clerk, <br />Sandy Berres; City Engineer, Greg Brown, BRW; City Attorney, Jerry Filla; and <br />Recording Secretary, Sheila Stowell. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />Due to the nature of the meeting, Mayor Probst dispensed with formal approval ofthe evening's <br />meeting agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst welcomed those in attendance for the City's Fiftieth Anniversary Kick-Off <br />Celebration; and introduced several of the City's former Mayors and Councilmembers, and <br />recognized several family representatives of other former city dignitaries. Mayor Probst <br />recognized the work of Council Liaison Aplikowski; Co-Chairs Dan Ashbach and LoAnn <br />Crepeau and the entire City Events Task Force in preparation for this evening's event and those <br />planned for the entire year. <br /> <br />NEW CITY HALL FACILITY. RECEIPT OF QUIT CLAIM DEED. DEPARTMENT OF <br />ARMY <br /> <br />Mayor Probst introduced Mike Fix, Commander's Representative at the Twin Cities Army <br />Ammunition Plant (TCAAP), representing the Department of Army. Mr. Fix formally presented <br />Mayor Probst and the City of Arden Hills with the Quit Claim Deed for the property on which <br />the City Hall facility is being constructed. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst, on behalf of the City, expressed appreciation to Mr. Fix for his extensive work on <br />. the conveyance ofthe property to the City. <br /> <br />J <br />
