ARDEN HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION – December 6, 2023 25 <br /> <br />Mr. Smith requested each business be allowed to have one sign that faces Lexington Avenue. He <br />reported one building would say Crew Carwash and the other would say Crew Interior. <br /> <br />Discussion was had about allowing for each building to have a wall sign. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wicklund moved and Commissioner Blilie seconded a motion to recommend <br />approval of Planning Case 23-020 for a Preliminary Plat, Master Planned Unit <br />Development, Final Planned Unit Development Phase I, Conditional Use Permit, and Site <br />Plan Review at 3737 Lexington Avenue North and 1133 Grey Fox Road, based on the <br />findings of fact and the submitted plans, as amended by the conditions in the December 6, <br />2023 Report to the Planning Commission as amended adding Condition 23 to read: The <br />applicant must work with City staff to confirm adequate egress. The motion carried 6-1 <br />(Commissioner Weber opposed). <br /> <br />Commissioner Bjorklund moved, seconded by Commissioner Weber, to reopen Planning <br />Case 23-020. Report from the City Council <br /> <br />Councilmember Rousseau provided the Commission with an update from the City Council. She <br />thanked the Commission for their thoughtful consideration of the two Planning Cases that were <br />before the Planning Commission this evening. She explained the Council tabled action on the <br />ground mounted solar ordinance at its last meeting. <br />
