Other interested developers continue <br />to contact staff to determine the status of these negotiations. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger indicated City Attorney Filla was in attendance to answer any questions regarding <br />the Old Snelling Park Site. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Malone inquired if there was action required for the abstract. Mr. Fritsinger <br />indicated no, staff will proceed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hicks indicated that it was his understanding what the City had done was to <br />allow use of that site in lieu of park dedication, but the City did not take possession. He stated <br />he would like to authorize City Attorney Filla to review property, and property across the street, <br />currently used as an activity park. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hicks indicated he would like to continue communication with residents <br />regarding the renaming of County Road F, perhaps asking the Mr. John Stenglein to chair a <br />resident committee, since he showed interest. Mr. Winkel indicated he would have staff review <br />procedure. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski indicated she would miss the Planning Commission meeting on <br />Wednesday March 1, 1995, but she will attend the League of Cities meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Keim wished Mr. Winkel the best at his new position. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Malone indicated Ramsey County has plan to rebuild the road between County <br />Road C2 and Highway 51, because the City has always wanted to change the water mains when <br />this work is being done, he requested staff review.
