ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL — NOVEMBER 27, 2023 19 <br />Councilmember Monson reported the Energy Advisory Committee has released and RFP for an <br />energy consultant and responses were expected mid -December. This consultant would help with <br />the energy vision for the Rice Creek Commons development. <br />Mayor Grant stated mayors and city administrators from seven cities met last week and shared <br />information on what was occurring within their community. <br />Mayor Grant explained the City received two thank you's from election judges. He discussed <br />how Ramsey County runs the City's elections, but the City works to provide its election judges <br />with boxed lunches for election judges who serve. <br />City Administrator Perrault reported he was working with the Communications Coordinator to <br />confirm a time and location for the State of the City, which would be held on Saturday, February <br />10. He proposed this event be held at City Hall at 10:00 a.m. The Council supported this <br />recommendation. <br />Councilmember Monson asked if staff had dates for the LMCIT meeting and Council retreat. <br />City Administrator Perrault stated the LMCIT meeting would be held on Wednesday, January 3 <br />at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. He noted the Council retreat date would be set after the LMCIT meeting. <br />He indicated he would be bringing a contract forward for the consultant in December and <br />anticipated the retreat would be held in the first quarter of 2024. <br />Councilmember Holden suggested the contract not be brought forward until staff and the <br />Council had agreed on a date for the retreat. <br />Councilmember Monson supported staff bringing the contract forward as an effort to commit the <br />City Council and staff to holding a retreat. <br />ADJOURN <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Monson seconded a <br />motion to adiourn.
