Passed inspection. <br />2 Right rear leaf spring broken leaf, replace both leaf 2.1 Jacked the truck up. Removed the tires. Removed the front spring pin bolt. <br />springs. Installed a floor jack. Cut the U bolts. Removed the extra leaf. Removed the <br />leaf spring. Cleaned plates. Installed new leaf springs. Installed extra leaf. <br />Installed new u bolts. Torqued u bolts to 600 FT Lbs. Cut off the extra u bolt. <br />Installed the tires. Torqued the lug nuts to 500 FT lbs. Took the truck for a <br />test drive. Re -torqued the u bolts to 600 FT lbs. <br />3 Both rear parking brake springs are broken, replace 3.1 Removed parking brake air lines. Removed park brake pins. Removed park <br />parking brake chambers. brake chambers. Switched over air line fittings. Installed new park brake <br />chambers. Attached pins. Attached air lines. Adjusted brake stroke. <br />4 On the exhaust pipe before the DPF there is a 4" <br />4.1 Inspected and found rusted exhaust clamp. Removed clamp. Installed new <br />clamp that rotted and is leaking. replace. <br />clamp. <br />5 Replace the batteries, OK per Thomas. <br />5.1 Load tested the batteries and they were bad. Replaced batteries. <br />6 Replace the broken exhaust flex pipe, OK per <br />6.1 Removed pass. side step. Removed exhaust clamps. Removed flex pipe. <br />Thomas. <br />Measured and cut new flex pipe to same length. Installed flex pipe. Installed <br />new clamps. Inspected and exhaust no longer leaks. <br />7 Troubleshoot and repair air leak, OK per Thomas. <br />7.1 Inspected for an air leak. I found air was leaking in the rear compt. where <br />the pump is. I followed the air lines and they went behind a cover. Removed <br />the cover and found a manifold of electric over air valves. Inspected and <br />found the manifold was leaking air out of the main exhaust port. I removed <br />all the plugs on each air valve and ran the truck. I found one air valve was <br />leaking out the exhaust port. I ordered the valve. I got the valve. I drained <br />the air tanks and removed the manifold. I removed the air valves and got to <br />the one in the middle. Replaced the valve. Installed all the plugs and tested <br />and it still leaked out of the main exhaust port. I inspected and there is one <br />main air line coming in that feeds that entire block and the exhaust port it <br />tied into each other as well. One of the valves is leaking air. I called Thomas <br />and told him I can either test them all to see which one is bad or replace <br />them all. He approved replacing them all. I ordered them all up.
