City Administrator <br />Fritsinger indicated he believed the Meetings were live but would review this with the Cable <br />Commission, to be sure. <br /> <br />Councilmember Malone indicated he would be testifying before the State Legislature opposing <br />Senate File 467, regarding the Regional Trunk Radio System. He was requesting support for this <br />issue. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski inquired if a formal motion would be desired. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Hicks moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to formally support <br />Councilmember Paul Malone's testimony opposing Senate File 467, regarding the <br />Regional Trunk Radio System, to be presented on March 28, 1995. The motion <br />passed unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />Mayor Probst indicated he bas recently been infonnally meeting with three Mayors from surrounding <br />communities informally, and in the near future will provide a motion to formally set up a future <br />meeting schedule with these area Mayors, perhaps to also include City Administrators and <br />Managers. He indicated the Mayors have indicated their support in Arden Hills' endeavors regarding <br />the TCAAP issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst indicated due to audio problems and with a few minutes to spare until the public <br />hearing there would be a brief recess, recess was called at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />The meeting reconvened at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />PLANNING CASE #95-5. OGREN TOWNHOMES PUD <br /> <br />Mayor Probst inquired if verification of publication could be made. City Administrator Fritsinger <br />indicated notice was publicized on March 14 and March 21 in the ~. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst opened the Public Hearing at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst explained the procedure of public testimony. He indicated a brief description of the <br />project will be presented, Council will reply with comments or question, those in favor of the project <br />will speak, and then those in opposition will speak. He requested questions and testimonies be <br />limited to two minutes to allow for an opportunity for all to speak. <br /> <br />City Administrator Fritsinger briefly reviewed the project, the applicant is desiring to develop <br />Townhomes at the northwest comer of County Road E-2 and Old Snelling Avenue. <br />
