She noted this is still below the $35,000 that had been budgeted for this <br />purchase. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Aplikowski moved and Keirn seconded a motion to approve the purchase of 1 (One) <br />Ton Truck for the total price of $31, 1 00. The motion carried unAnimously (5-0). <br /> <br />Mayor Probst indicated since the time was not yet 7:30 p.m., the published time for the public <br />hearings, he requested to move on to Administrator Comments, Council concurred. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> <br />City Administrator Fritsinger noted he had received correspondence from Everest Development <br />regarding the Round Lake Development project. He indicated he would like any comments or <br />concerns from Council as Staff prepares a response. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst inquired if there is a timetable regarding this response. Mr. Fritsinger noted there is <br />no timetable, Everest is awaiting a response from Staff. <br /> <br />City Administrator Fritsinger indicated Mr. Post and Councilmembers Malone and Hicks have <br />reviewed the infonnation and pay plan restructuring as discussed at the last Council Worksession. <br />He noted although this plan apparently will allow the City to pass DOER statistical tests and be <br />found in compliance, Staff is still working on a final form. He welcomed any comments from <br />Council. Staff is still working on establishing a salary range. He noted DOER will then respond <br />with any comments and then it will be provided to Council for approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst inquired if there is a timetable as to when it has to be submitted to DOER. Mr. <br />Fritsinger noted the deadline would be Apri130, 1995. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski noted in regards to the County Road F issues addressed earlier in the <br />meeting, if residents were available after the meeting, she would gladly meet with them to discuss <br />concerns. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski indicated she would like to see the return of the local newspaper the <br />Town Crier as many residents have also voiced. She indicated Mr. Hoelscher has expressed interest <br />in editing the newspaper. She noted this would be a good tool community communication tool if <br />used correctly. <br />
