Mr. <br />Fritsinger indicated Mr. Kriesel had issued two correction notices for cleaning up the walkway, but <br />since tl1e recent rain he has not heard anything more and will research the issue. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski asked in reference to Mr. Carlson request for leave of absence. Mr. <br />Fritsinger indicated tl1e Council may decide to leave his seat open or fill it temporarily. <br />Councilmember Aplikowski suggested a woman who had previously applied may be a good <br />alternative. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst asked if there was an update on the Town Crier. Councilmember Aplikowski <br />indicated she would review the issue later that evening. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst inquired if a public meeting regarding the EA W for tl1e Ogren application had been <br />scheduled. Mr. Ringwald indicated the public comment portion of tl1e EA W began July 31, 1995 <br />and tl1e staff felt mid-way through tl1e comment period would be an appropriate time to schedule an <br />informational meeting. Tentatively scheduled for August 14tl1 or 15tl1. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger suggested scheduling an informational meeting on Thursday August 17,1995. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst asked if tl1ere would be a publication of this meeting in tl1e paper and on cable. Mr. <br />Fritsinger indicated contacting tl10se concerned residents and also publicizing tl1e meeting. This <br />meeting is scheduled to be held at City Hall. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst suggested finding an alternate location so more residents may attend. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst apologized for missing tl1e Cottage Villas Open House, he had the wrong date. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst noted a letter from the Ramsey County Manager Terry Schutten, he suggested staff <br />notify his office and invite him to a meeting and indicated there will be a 30 minute maximum to <br />tl1eir presentation. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger asked if there would be any specific issues tl1e Council may wish tl1e County to <br />address. Mayor Probst indicated issues such as: street and highways, land use, parks, economy, and <br />law enforcement could be addressed. <br />
