He <br />noted some comments were for a 2,400 acre open space. He stated an additional Open House will <br />be held on August 9, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. He noted a new location is being researched due to the <br />acoustics at the Army Reserve Facility. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger indicated the comments will be forwarded to tl1e Task Force and the goal oftl1e Task <br />Force is to make a recommendation for one specific plan proposal by tl1e end of August. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst added he believes the meetings are making progress and the City has established itself <br />as a leader in the process. He rea1izes not everyone may be happy witl1 the eventual decision, but <br />is confident the majority will be pleased. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger inquired if the Council would object to having an Open House outside the city limits. <br />Mayor Probst suggested staying within the city limits, perhaps researching the availability of hotels <br />or corporate facilities. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> <br />City Administrator Fritsinger reported he met with tl1e Army Reserve to once again discuss the issue <br />of Retrocession. He is anticipating tl1e receipt of a Memorandum of Understanding within tl1e week. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger also indicated he will be on vacation September 8 through the 14tl1, <br />
