The cost per home will be <br />$227.81. <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Getty, 1188 Benton Way, President ofthe Hunter's Park Homeowner's Association, <br />thanked staff for meeting witl1 him to expllrln tl1e project. He referred to a letter sent to the City <br />proposing reducing the assessment from $4 per linear foot to $2 per linear foot <br /> <br />Mr. Getty indicated the Association cousists of individual single family homeowners, tl1e units are <br />not town homes. He pointed out tl1e development is unique to Arden Hills, and he believed the <br />Council should review tl1e way in which it may be assessed. <br /> <br />Mr. Getty suggested a liaison between the Association and tl1e City would be appropriate for <br />eommunication purposes, he volunteered to be that liaison. <br /> <br />Mr. Getty stated the homeowners are respousible for their own lots and driveways, tl1e homeowners <br />then pay tl1e Association for tl1e maintenance of the roadways, pIus the cost of snow removal. <br /> <br />Mr. Getty indicated tl1e Association is proposing the reduction of the assessment from $4 per linear <br />foot to $2 per linear foot in tl10se areas not considered common ground. He pointed out areas on <br />comers should be assessed similar to other comer lots in Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Mr. Frank Pistotnik, 1163 Benton Way, reiterated each homeowner would need to be <br />communicated witl1 individually. Mr. Pistotnik questioned iftl1e project is set for this year. Mayor <br />Probst replied yes, the project will be completed this year. <br /> <br />Mr. Pistotnik asked why spot repairs are currently occurring on Benton Way. Mr. Stonehouse <br />indicated tl10se repairs are part of tl1e project. <br /> <br />Mr. Pistotnik expressed concern regarding the repairs, he did not feel this was a wise use of money, <br />indicating tl1e quality of the repairs. <br /> <br />Mr. Pistotnik encouraged the Council to re-evaluate the fairness of tl1e assessment, he felt tl1e <br />residents were paying twice. <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Porter, 1128 Benton Way, also thanked staff for tl1eir cooperation. He also expressed his <br />concerns that tl1e development is unique to Arden Hills. <br />
