<br />I <br />I. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />.. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I- <br />I <br /> <br />.ARDEN HIT,LS CITY COUNCIL - AUGUST 14, 1995 <br /> <br />13, <br /> <br />Mayor Probst indicated this should go to the Park and Recreation Committee for their review <br />and recommendation. <br /> <br />HamIine Avenue/BetheI College: <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger noted the Council would find a memorandum from Mr. Ringwald addressing <br />a request to transfer part of Harnline Avenue to Bethel College. No specific action is <br />required at this time. MNDOT still owns the parcel and the City would need to act as a <br />facilitator in this process. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst indicated the City may want to package this request with other issues regarding <br />Bethel College. <br /> <br />Letter from Anita Warner: <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger reported he had received a letter from Ms. Warner requesting an investigation <br />of severe drainage problems in the Arden Oaks area. He reported there is literally a river <br />flowing through the property and from the pictures of the problem, it appears that the <br />storrnwater runoff may be corning from Pascal Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger indicated Mr. Stonehouse and Mr. Ringwald will be investigating the <br />situation. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilrnember Malone expressed disappointment in the sealcoating ofHarnline. He thought they <br />would correct the tire ruts, but it seems they just covered them over without filling them. <br /> <br />Councilrnernber Aplikowski reported she had received numerous complaints regarding the timing <br />of the Ogren EA W Meeting. Mr. Fritsinger indicated this is not a Public Hearing, but an opportunity <br />for the public to make any comments, or have staff available for any questions. He noted the public <br />can make comments anytime during the 30 day period. <br /> <br />Councilrnernber Keim indicated there is still a problem with the trail on Katy Lane and the issue of <br />the sprinkler washing sand onto the trail. Mr. Fritsinger indicated the property owner has been <br />notified and no response, so a citation will be issued regarding this issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst indicated he has been invited to several functions on Wednesday, August 16th, and <br />any Councilrnember wishing to attend some of them was welcome. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst indicated he would be attending the Minnesota Mayor's Conference in October. <br />
