RosevillelArden Hills Water Al!reement I City Administrator Fritsinger indicated the City currently purchases its water from the City of Rosevil1e, The Water Service Contract expired in September of 1992. I- Mr, Fritsinger noted City Accountant Post has been working with Attorney Filla and the City of Rosevil1e on the preparation of an Agreement to amend this Contract. . MOTION: Malone moved and Keirn seconded a motion to approve the Amendment to the Contract and authorize the Mayor to execute the Water Service Contract with the . City ofRoseville. Parks and Recreation Director Walsh indicated the park dedication fee has been calculated in accordance to Section 22-9, Public Use Dedication of the City Code. . Ms, Walsh noted the park dedication fee required from the Townhomes of Lake Valentine, has been adjusted due to the decrease in number of units from 16 to 12. The development project has . been downsized to 12 units with the gross density in dwel1ing units per acre between zero and two. Thus, the percentage dedication will be 6% of the purchase price of the property, which is $8,012.52. I Ms. Walsh reported if the Council does not feel that the purchase price accurately reflects the . market value of the property. they do have the option of having the property appraised. City Attorney Filla has reviewed the purchase agreement and concluded that the price reflected in the .. purchase agreement is justified for the undeveloped land value. .
