I I I- I I I I I I Ie I I I I I I I Ie I MnmTES CITY OF ARDEN KILLS, MJ:NNESOTA REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEET:ING January 10, 1994 7:30 P.M. - New Brighton City Kall CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Sather called to order the City Council meeting at 7: 32 p. m. Present: Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, Dale Hicks, Paul Malone, and Dennis Probst. Also present were: City Accountant, Terry Post; Community Planning Coordinator, Brian Fritsinger; Public Works Superintendent, Dan Winkel; Park & Recreation Director, Cynthia Severtson, City Administrator, Dorothy Person; and Recording Secretary, Renee Kaulfuss. ADOPT AGENDA MOTION: Probst moved, seconded by Aplikowski, to adopt the January 10, 1994 agenda as revised. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). PUBLIC EEAR:ING - CONTJ:NUANCE OF ASSESSMENT EEAR:ING REGARD:ING 1993 ARDEN PLACE DRAJ:NAGE :IMPROVEMENT PROJECT and PUBLIC EEAR:ING - FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL & COST ALLOCATION :IN TEE MATTER OF 1993 ARDEN PLACE DRAJ:NAGE :IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Mayor Sather advised the Council that the cost sharing agreement between Noyed, Bauer, and Bongard and the City has not been finalized as of this date. Staff will continue to work with all parties to resolve the issues that remain outstanding. Mayor Sather commented that since the cost sharing agreement for the Arden Place private/public drainage improvement had not yet been finalized, it would be prudent to continue both public hearings that had been scheduled to take place this evening. City Administrator Person informed the Council that all parties continue to work with the private contractor to find an alternative way to access the property. The private contractor has agreed to charge the original price quoted for this proj ect knowing that access to this property may be changed. Mr. Noyed informed the Council that a neighbor, Mr. Hagen who is located east of the Johnson's property has offered access
