I I .- I I I I I I Ie I I I I I I I if I MINUTES CITY OF ARDEN BJ:LLS, MJ:NNESOTA REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETmG February 28, 1994 7:30 P.M. - New Brighton City Ball CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Acting Mayor Probst called to order the City Council meeting at 7:35 p.m. Present: Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, Dale Hicks, and Paul Malone. Absent: Mayor Thomas Sather. Also present were: Community Planning Coordinator, Brian Fritsinger; Public Works Superintendent, Dan Winkel; Park & Recreation Director, Cynthia Severtson; City Accountant, Terry Post; City Administrator, Dorothy Person; and Recording Secretary, Renee Kaulfuss. ADOPT AGENDA MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Aplikowski, to adopt the February 28, 1994 agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). PUBLIC REARING - CONTJ:NtJANCE OF ASSESSMENT R'5!:&.RING REGARDmG THE 1993 ARDEN PLACE DRAmAGE :IMPROVEMENT PROJECT and PUBLIC REARmG - FJ:NAL ASSESSMENT ROLL &: COST ALLOCATION m THE MATTER OF THE 1993 ARDEN PLACE DRAJ:NAGE :IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Acting Mayor Probst opened the public hearing at 7:36 pm. Acting Mayor Probst explained that the public hearings were rescheduled several times to allow for all the parties involved to work out the cost sharing agreement. The parties involved have agreed to the terms of the cost of the project and the project is near completion. Public Works Superintendent Dan Winkel noted the pipe is in the ground and all the structures are built on the site. The only remaining process to be completed is some dirt work which will need to be done after the frost is out of the ground. Administrator Person noted that since the public/private cost agreement is finalized, there would be no need to continue the assessment hearing at this point.
