<br /> I <br /> I <br /> I- ,ARDEN mLLS CITY COUNCIL - OCTOBER 10, 1994 4 <br /> I Planning Coordinator Fritsinger indicated staff recommends that the City COWlcil <br /> approve the contract extension through December 31, 1995 including the revision to the <br /> fee structure for 1994. <br /> I MOTION: Hicks moved and Malone seconded a motion to approve the contract <br /> extension with Animal Control Services, Ine. through December 31, 1995, <br /> I including revisions to the fee structure for 1994. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (4-0). <br /> I IAWRENCE RUST NUISANCE ABATEMENT <br /> I Planning Coordinator Fritsinger provided COWlcil with photographs of the property <br /> located at 1863 Grant Road owned by Lawrence Rust. Planning Coordinator Fritsinger <br /> reviewed that during 1993 the City undertook several activities from a safety and welfare <br /> I perspective at this property. Since that time, the property owner was placed in a nursing <br /> home. <br /> I- Planning Coordinator Fritsinger indicated over the last several months, staff has <br /> attempted to have the "junk" and debris located on this lot removed. Planning <br /> I Coordinator Fritsinger indicated the COWlty eventually Wldertook clean up of the <br /> property. <br /> I Planning Coordinator Fritsinger indicated staff recommends COWlcil to support the <br /> issuance of Notice to Abate, Wlder Section 16-4 of the municipal code, and direct the <br /> I City Attorney and Code Enforcement Officer to take what ever action is necessary to <br /> address this problem. <br /> I MOTION: Malone moved and Hicks seconded a motion to direct the Administrator <br /> and Staff to issue Notice to Abate property located at 1863 Grant Road, <br /> recovering as much of the cost as possible by the sale of materials removed <br /> I and certifying the balance in taxes against the property. The motion <br /> carried Wlanimously (4-0). <br /> I METROPOLITAN INSPECTIONS FEE INCREASE. EFFECTIVE 1/1/95 <br /> I Planning Coordinator Fritsinger briefly reviewed staff report referring to the proposal <br /> from Metropolitan Inspection Service, Inc. Planning Coordinator Fritsinger indicated <br /> .- he had reviewed this proposal with Mr. Gunnar Pettersen and Dave Kriesel. They had <br /> . <br />
