Planning Coordinator Fritsinger recommended Council direct Staff to draft a resolution detailing the fee increases for the end of the I year. . Mayor Probst indicated perhaps a future 2 year contract cost review cycle would be preferable to the 6 year span in this case. I MOTION: Hicl<s moved and Malone seconded a motion to request Staff to prepare changes in Electric Permit Fees as per memo. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). I PROPOSED 1995 SANITARY SEWER AND WATER RATES; DISCUSSION OF -e PROPOSED RESOLUTIONS 94-52, WATER; 94-53. SANITARY SEWER. City Accountant Terry Post indicated Cristine Leavitt, a member of the Finance I Committee, had a few comments to submit to the Council. Ms. Leavitt, a recent resident of the City of Arden Hills, indicated as resident she would like to submit a proposal to charge City sewer seIVices based on usage rather than a flat fee basis. I Ms. . Leavitt presented the Council with a memorandum outlining rates of various . surrounding cities and charge methods. Ms. Leavitt indicated a formal proposal would be prepared and presented to the Council by December of this year. I Mr. Carl Rundquist from the Fmance Committee indicated further studies will be made analyzing various utility charge systems. - Council held discussion on the proposed sewer rates. MOTION: Hicks moved and Malone seconded a motion to approve Resolutions No. . 94-52, Revising Water Utility Rates Effective January 1, 1995 and No. 94- 53, Revising the Sanitary Sewer Utility Rates Effective January 1, 1995, . with the Finance Committee to continue their analysis of various methods of charge systems. .- ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS I
