Army Reserve Retrocession. <br /> I Acting Clerk Administrator Post indicated it appears that the army has the ability <br /> to enter a memorandum of understanding. Mr. Elmquist, attorney for the Army <br /> Reserve, indicated that such documents are typically used betWeen various federal <br /> I agencies. He was unaware of similar agreements with local governments but he <br /> thought the approach would be a=ptable in this case. Mr. Elmquist was to <br /> follow up and clarify the use of this document. <br /> I B. Perry Park <br /> I Acting Clerk Administrator Post indicated Light Brigade, Inc. has pledged $35,000 <br /> toward the Perry Park renovation project. He also advised Council of a $50,000 <br /> DNR recreational grant award for the project. <br /> Ie C. Lot on Old Snelling, owned by the City. <br /> I Acting Clerk Administrator Post indicated after speaking with Attorney Filla, <br /> that, per Minnesota Statute, a sale of land designated for park dedication may not <br /> I be appropriate. However, staff will continue to review all legal options in this <br /> matter. <br /> D. Ramsey County, County Road F. <br /> I The turnback of County Road F was a=pted by Ramsey County Resolution in <br /> early December and City maintenance responsibilities will begin on March 1, <br /> I 1995. <br /> E. Everest. <br /> I Acting Clerk Administrator Post indicated additional and more in depth <br /> financial information has been received by Everest and staff is evaluating the data <br /> I for future council review. <br /> I COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Hicks indicated regarding the lot the City owns on Old Snelling, he had a realtor <br /> i' give an estimate of value. The realtor established value of the lot to be betWeen $70,000 and <br /> $100,000. <br /> I <br />
