CITIES CONF. Councilmember Growe reported on the Minnesota Cities <br />Legislative conference; she found the conference to be <br />extremely worthwhile and urged Council to attend. <br /> <br />AMM MEMBERSHIP <br /> <br />Councilmember Mahowald questioned if the City would be <br />joining the AMM organization. <br /> <br />Berger advised that funds are budgeted and he will be preparing a report on the <br />matter for a future meeting. <br /> <br />OPTICON SYSTEM <br /> <br />Councilmember Mahowald questioned if the City is <br />considering purchase of the Opticon system for emergency <br />vehicle preemption. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hansen did not favor the purchase; it was noted the system is <br />opt iona!. <br /> <br />AIR QUALITY BOARD Mayor Sather reported on the Air Quality Board meeting <br />held 4-7-89; he noted a public hearing is scheduled for <br />April 24 and he would advise Council if the date is confirmed. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Malone, at the meeting be <br />adjourned at 10:35 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
