Highway 96, the Public Works Garage, and asked <br />Raddatz to report to Council regarding the matter. <br /> <br />Raddatz stated he would investigate the alarms and report to Council. <br /> <br />LJVFD; FEES <br />INSPECTIONS <br /> <br />Coun~ilmember Hansen referred to the inspection fees <br />charged by the LJVFD as per the current contract; she <br />suggested Council consider requesting the business <br />reimburse the City for the inspection fees. <br /> <br />establishments <br /> <br />TRAFFIC LITE; <br />HAMLINE/SNELLING <br /> <br />Councilmember Hansen referred to a letter received by <br />a resident relative to the number of accidents at the <br />intersection of Hamline and Snelling Avenues. <br /> <br />Mayor Sather advised he had requested staff contact the State Highway Patrol and <br />Ramsey County Sheriffs Department to obtain statistics for accidents at the <br />intersection. <br /> <br />Hansen recommended signalization of this intersection be included in the list of <br />items to consider at the goals session and suggested the letter be referred to <br />the PS/W Committee for their recommendation. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS Councilmember Hansen advised the Mayor of Shoreview had <br />requested Arden Hills involvement to establish <br />communication between the northern suburbs relative to land available for <br />development in the northern cities; basically a referral of land available. <br /> <br />Mayor Sather stated he has had conversation with the Mayor of Shoreview and New <br />Brighton regarding this matter; he noted there is an informal Mayors association <br />in the northern suburbs and they meet occasionally to discuss methods of steering <br />development to this area. <br /> <br />REALIGNMENT GREY <br />FOX RD/ISLAND LK. <br /> <br />Council was referred to a proposal from the City of <br />Shoreview for realignment of Grey Fox Road in Arden Hills <br />and Island Lake Road in Shoreview along Lexington Avenue; <br />Arden Hills review and recommendation on this matter. <br /> <br />Shoreview is requesting <br /> <br />Mayor Sather suggested this request be discussed at the work session scheduled <br />for 2/22/89; Council concurred. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Mahowald, that the meeting be <br />adjourned at 10:35 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br />(4-0) <br /> <br />Gary R.
