INSTRUC. <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Growe, that Council approve <br />Resolution No. 89-07, For Transfer of Funds by Telephonic <br />Instructions, with the inclusion of appropriate names. <br />Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />RES. #89-08; <br />SUMS OF MONEY <br /> <br />Malone moved, seconded by Growe, that Council approve <br />Resolution No. 89-08, Clarifying Sums of Money to be <br />Levied for Levy Year 1989, Payable in 1990, and Amending <br />Improvement Bond Series 2. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />the Levy on 1972 <br /> <br />1989 COMMITTEE <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Council discussed the 1989 Committee appointments and <br />directed staff to contact Ed Menze and Judy Stafford of <br />the Finance Committee to determine if they wish to <br />continue serving on the committee. Mayor Sather advised he would contact Mark <br />Peterson of the Park /; Recreation Committee to determine if he wishes to continue <br />serving on the committee. <br /> <br />There was Council discussion relative to merging the Board of Appeals with <br />Planning Commission; it was noted a Code amendment would be necessary to <br />accomplish the merge and Malone recommended continuation of the Board of Appeals <br />until such time as the matter can be further reviewed. Council also discussed <br />reappointing William Bauer as Chair of the Arden Hills Cable Commission and <br />liaison to the NSC Commission. It was determined the Cable Commission would have <br />no further duties in the coming year and no other members would be appointed. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Moved by Malone, seconded by Growe, that Council approve <br />the 1989 Committee Appointments as discussed and attached, further, direct staff <br />to forward the appropriate letters and committee information to those residents <br />newly appointed, reappointed and others who were not appointed at this time. .... <br />Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) ~ <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />BLDING. INSPECTOR <br />POSITION UPDATE <br /> <br />Council was referred to a memorandum from the Clerk <br />Administrator dated 12-30-88, relative to advertising <br />for the Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer <br />position. <br /> <br />Berger advised the current Building Inspector has requested to remain in the <br />position until February 17, 1989, to complete the year-end report. He stated upon <br />checking with other communities it was found that most compensate this position <br />on the basis of 80% of the building permit fees. Berger requested he be able to <br />further research the compensation plan for the position and make a recommendation <br />at the January 9 Council meeting. <br /> <br />, <br />
