<br />Minutes of the Arden Hills Regular Council Meeting, April 25, 1988 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />CONTRACT (Cont'd) Council directed the Clerk Administrator to forward a <br />request to Commander Bergeron to be present at a future <br />Council meeting to discuss the 1989 proposed contract, and that the Public <br />Safety/Works Committee be notified of the date he will attend, in the event they . <br />have any concerns or questions. <br /> <br />RES. 1i88-13; <br />TRANSFER FUNDS <br />BY TELEPHONE <br /> <br />Council was referred to Resolution No. 88-13 and advised <br />by Clerk Administrator Morrison the resolution was <br />required due to the interim appointment of Mrs. McNiesh <br />as Clerk Administrator. <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve <br />Resolution No. 88-13, For Transfer of Funds By Telephonic Instructions. Motion <br />carried unanimously. 5-0) <br /> <br />RECYCLING INFO. Clerk Administrator Morrison advised that all the <br />recycling containers ordered by residents had been <br />delivered; she extended thanks to all those who helped deliver the containers. <br />Morrison also reported she has received many positive comments relative to the <br />recycling program. <br /> <br />CLAIMS & PAYROLL <br /> <br />Peck moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve <br />Claims and Psyrol1 as submitted. Motion carried <br />unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />RENDERING PLANT <br />INFORMATION <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Morrison reported that Mr. Liefert <br />has set standards to be met within the permit for Kem <br />Milling and a letter has been sent to company <br />representatives, requesting they address his questions and concerns. She also <br />noted New Brighton City Manager Hank Sinda had advised their City Attorney has <br />been searching for an expert on ambient air. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CLERK ADMIN. ; <br />LAST MEETING <br /> <br />Councilmember Peck, on behalf of the Council, thanked <br />Patricia Morrison for her time and service as Clerk <br />Administrator for the City of Arden Hills and wished <br />her good luck in her new position at Lake Elmo. <br /> <br />Morrison thanked the Council and advised she had enjoyed working at Arden Hills; <br />she commented the Village committees and staff were dedicated and a pleasure to <br />work with. She also extended her best wishes to the new"Clerk Administrator. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Peck moved, seconded by Sather, that the meeting be <br />adjourned at 9:59 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
