<br />Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting, February 29, 1988 <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />SALARIES (Cont'd) <br /> <br />Council requested the Clerk Administrator research to <br />find if the position was formally authorized by Council. <br /> <br />Peck moved, seconded by Winiecki, that Council table the <br />matter of the 1988 Salaries for full-time non-union employees to their regular <br />meeting of March 14, 1988. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PARKS & REC. EMPLY. Council was referred to a memorandum from Parks Director <br />Buckley, dated 1-7-88, and to Clerk Administrator's <br />memorandum of 2-26-88, recommending an accelerated increase for Kevin Fuller. <br /> <br />Morrison advised that Mr. Fuller has been employed full-time with the City for <br />two years and was previously employed part-time with the City. She explained the <br />Public Works union contract provides for new employees to be equally compensated <br />within a two year period; at the present rate of increase Mr. Fuller would reach <br />the equal pay status in 4 or 5 years. Morrison also stated that Mr. Fuller is an <br />excellent and valued employee. <br /> <br />Peck moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council approve the <br />salary increase for Kevin Fuller, as recommended by the Clerk Administrator, and <br />that his hourly rate be increased to $11.50 per hour commencing 1/1/88, and <br />$12.00 per hour commencing 7/1/88. Motion carried. (Peck, Hansen and Woodburn <br />voting in favor; Winiecki opposed) 3-1) <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Moved by Peck, seconded by Hansen, that the meeting be <br />adjourned at 10:58 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
