Parallel to County Road B2, one-half mile to the <br /> north, is another minor arterial, County Road C. T.H. 36, an intermediate arterial, is <br /> one-fourth mile in distance south of County ROC!d B2. <br /> Location <br /> The roads are located on the edges of development and neighborhoods. <br /> Land Access <br /> As stated previously, access is prohibited to adjacent land unless feasible alternatives <br /> do not exist. <br /> Intersection Characteristics <br /> Major intersections are controlled by traffic signals or four-way stop signs. Cross <br /> streets stop for traffic on these roads proposed as minor arterials. <br />. ParkinR <br /> Parking on these roads is prohibited in most locations. <br /> LarRe Trucks <br /> There is no restriction on use of these roads by large trucks. <br /> Management Tools <br /> Land access spacing has been used as a management tool along these roads. Traffic <br /> signal timing will be considered. <br /> System Mileage <br /> Ramsey County's collector mileage exceeds the suggested federal limitation for collector <br /> mileage. These proposed changes would bring Ramsey County closer to the federal <br /> recommendations for minor arterial and collector mileage as percent of total roadway <br /> system. <br /> Percent of Travel <br /> The percent of travel is within the guidelines for minor arterial. <br />. <br />
