.
Minutes of the Regular Planning Commission Meeting, May 6, 1987
Page 8
CUMMINGS PROP. After discussion, Commission consensus was that the
( CONTINUED ) developer should pursue a single-family or low density .
proposal for this parcel; architectural quality should
be high if the plan is for cluster homes.
Commission members also advised that they realize this is a difficult parcel
and they would consider variances for a single-family design proposal on the
parcel to enhance the development of the land.
Planner Miller noted that the options for development of the parcel, without
granting variances, rezoning or granting a special use permit would be:
1- Leave land as is.
2. Develop the property as a single-family lot.
3. Subdivide the parcel into two single-family lots.
Bob Miller and Randy Hopkins thanked the Commission members for their review of
the preliminary proposal.
COUNCIL REPORT Councilrnember Winiecki reported on recent Council
actions on items of interest to the Planning members.
ADJOURNMENT Moved by Zehm, seconded by Thorn, that the meeting
adjourn at 10:55 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0)
.
Acting Chairman Scott Petersen
.
----------
