May 28, 1987 - Page 4 <br /> Miscellaneous/New Business <br /> Committee asked that an announcement of the new sewer and water utility rates <br /> along with an explanation of the reasons for the increases be included in the <br /> next Town Crier. <br /> Morrison reported she had talked with the State about the possibility of <br /> licensing lawn care specialists...regulation presently rests with the State so <br /> it does not seem advisable to license locally. It is possible legislation <br /> recently considered may require the City to make sure proper posting is done <br /> when a lawn is treated; Morrison will check on the outcome of this <br /> legislation. Committee concurred that it was probably not an area the City <br /> should become involved in licensing. <br /> Council Report <br /> Mayor Woodburn reported on Council actions of interest to this committee. <br /> Adjournment <br /> Motion was made by Rautio, seconded by Menze, that the meeting adjourn at 9:50 <br /> p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Submitted by Shirley Marshall. <br /> ********** <br /> .
