Budget Calendar: As a reminder, following is the calendar of budget meetings: Mon., August 31 Council receives preliminary budget and tax levy. Thur., September 10 Finance Committee reviews proposed budget (Council invited to sit in on meeting). Mon. , September 17 Finance Committee recommendations to Council, Department Heads. Mon., September 28 Budget and tax levy approved by Council. The proposed 1988 Budget, and levy, will be submitted to you on Monday, so you have an opportunity to review it prior to our meetings. 2. Pavement Management Plan: Barry Peters and two additional representatives . from SEH met with Bob Raddatz and I on August 26th to discuss the preliminary findings of the Study. Barry will discuss this with you on Monday night, and will be requesting a date for Council workshop (as concluded by Council on 8/10 was necessary) to review the Study. 3. No Parking - Mounds View School: The Council, in May of '87, requested this parking situation be reviewed again by Council prior to commencement of the 87/88 school year. This is brought up in case there are specifics you would like staff to address at this time. 4. 1415 Arden Oaks Drive: As you may know, we have received several calls of concern about the property at 1415 Arden Oaks Drive, i.e., the length of time for completion and the condition of the yard. The attached letter was sent to Mr. Foster on 8/20; on 8/26 he called and agreed to send a letter indicating a timetable within which the work can be accomplished (when this is received a copy will be sent to you). Mr. Grant Wishert, 1424 Arden Oaks Drive, is particularly concerned. 5. County Road I: We have received the attached letters from Shoreview and LJVFD, in response to our request for their preference for an alternate route for County Road I. The school district has not responded. When the school district response has been received, this will be placed on our Agenda again. .
