Anderssen: Mr. Andersen has suggested a street name change for V County Road E (see attached). 2. MnDQ~.-T.H, 10 and Hwy 96: Some complaints were expresssed at the last (PS/W Comm!!}~~meeting relative to safety concerns at this intersection; MnDot's response is enclosed. 3. Control Data: Control Data will be releasing 600 helium balloons on September 17th, at 3:00 p.m., to kick-off their United Way Campaign. /4. Ramsey County Capital Improvement Program: We have received a request (enclosed) from Ramsey County for any suggestions we may have for projects we would like to see incorporated within their capital improvement program. You may wish to receive comments from Barry Peters on Monday night at our earlier meeting. 5. Alpo Petfoods, Inc. : Update: In an attempt to curb odor emissions from . their facility, and to eliminate neighborhood complaints (Dennis Ganz, 1250 Wynridge Drive and Brent Nelson, 1266 Wynridge Drive), rather than have the City's inspector look at his facility, Mr. Harvey Stewart, Manager, has contacted three consultants to review Alpo. He has forwarded a letter (attached) to let the Council know he is attempting to work out the problem, if it is possible. Their operation runs in two shifts, 4 days per week: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; Thursday times 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Our CSO has checked for odor on Wynridge, over the past two weeks, to verify the complaints. Also, our Parks Department employees, while working at Cummings, were asked if they could detect the smell. All advised at various times an odor was detectable in the area. 6. 1415 Arden Oaks Drive: In viewing this lot on 9/10, the contractors were working on exterior completion. The owner has cut the lawn west of the driveway. The other lawn area has not, as yet, been graded (the owner will do this after exterior completion). 7. 1325 Karth Lake Circle: The owner. Vince Anderson, was requested, on August 26th, to not use Highway 96 as an ingress/egress to his property; the auto which had been parked in this area was moved on 9/10. The neighbors have had several concerns with this home. .
