Specifications for Dump Body and Hoist -----------------..------------------------------------------------------------- Dump Body: Shall be 8 feet long (minimum) by 78 inches wide inside (minimum) . Body shall have 2-3 yards capacity. Sides: 14 inches high with all 12 gaug.. Hi-Tensile steel, 45" sloped rub rail, side board provisions for 2" x 4" plank; sides shall be solid with 2" radius floor. Floor: Will be 10 gauge Hi-Tensile steel (minimum). Cross members to support floor every 14". Cross members shall be welded to outside rub rail. Body must have tubular interlocking undl!rstructure to give floor support both horizontally and lon!~itudunal support. Totally interfaced. Head Board: Shall be 12 gauge Hi-Tensile steel, with a 1/4 cab shield and steE~1 mesh window. Tailgate: 20" high, 12 gauge Hi-Tensile steel, double acting, with 3/8" sprE,ader chains, bottom pin release to be front mounted trip levE,l, top pins to be center eccentric lever operated. Full length rear bolster apron across rear of body with recessed clearance lights. 1-1/4" pins top and bottom of endgate. . Mud Flap: Anti-sail mud flaps installed. Paint: Prillled and painted one color (Ford Dark Teal Metallic). Installation: Stan,dard mounting as low as possible. Hoist: Shall be a single cylinder scissors, double acting with safety prop. Capacity shall be 9 U.S. tons (minimum) under 8 foot body on 60" CA chassis. NTEA Class 20. Hydraulics: Pump shall be an electric clutch pump capable of 5.5 G.P.M. at 1000 RPM rated at 3000 PSI. Pump shall be driven with 2 belts. Pump shall have a 1-1/4" suction line. Pump to be mounted on adjusting bracket to enable the belt tension to be adjusted. Valve shall be a Gresen model V20LS-4-3-4 valve to be mounted behind cab and between frame rails. Controls shall be Morse cable controls mounted on floor of cab. Controls shall be stainless steel core cables and heads. Reservoir to be 12 gallons or larger with in line filter (spin-on type). Reservoir shall have a magnetic drain plug, suction line, strainer, 3-5 PSI Bruening pressure valve, drain plug and level check tube. All hoses shall be heavy duty wire braid for high pressure. Plumbing, fittings, and oil as required. Snowplow: Shall be a 9 foot heavy duty model. Shall have power angling with 2" shaft cylinders. Shall be power lift. Must have . complete plow lights/signal lights package. Corner markers must be plastic coated cable markers. The moldboard shall have 4 trip springs and be reinforced with blade ribs. Must have replaceable cutting edge. Installation shall be standard mounting.
