Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: 2024 PMP Street & Utility Improvements — Resolution Approving Plans & <br />Specifications and Order Advertisement for Bids <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />$3,001,100 $2,763,952 PIR, Surface Water, Sanitary, <br />(Pre -bid estimate) Water, Special Assessments <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• Adopting Resolution 2024-008 Approving Plans and Specifications and Ordering <br />Advertisement for Bids for the 2024 PMP Street & Utility Improvements project. <br />Background/Discussion <br />On August 14, 2023, City Council held an Improvement Public Hearing and adopted Resolution 2023- <br />040 Ordering Improvement and Preparation of Plans and Specifications for the 2024 PMP Street & <br />Utility Improvements Project. <br />The proposed improvements include bituminous paving, storm water improvements, watermain <br />improvements on James Avenue, concrete curb and gutter repair, and appurtenant work on the <br />following streets: <br />Streets proposed for Full -Depth Reclamation: <br />• Keithson Drive from County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 96 West to 800 feet south of CSAH 96 <br />West <br />• Royal Hills Drive from Snelling Avenue North to Arden View Drive <br />• Colleen Avenue from McClung Drive to Hamline Avenue North <br />• Norma Avenue from Dawn Circle to Briarknoll Drive <br />• Norma Avenue from Briarknoll Drive to Colleen Avenue <br />• James Avenue from Indian Oaks Trail to Colleen Avenue <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
