<br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Minutes of the Regular ~Cil Meeting, August 10, 1987 . <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />BUDGET (Cont'd) Council discussed the parks seasonal personnel proposed <br />hourly rates and the part time parks position proposed. <br />Also discussed was the OJT position and specific duties performed. Council <br />questioned the differential for OJT position and the proposed half-time parks <br />position; Morrison explained that Buckley would prefer hiring an undergraduate <br />student with expertise in scheduling programs and coordinating softball <br />leagues, therefore, the position would require more experience and expertise <br />than the OJT position which is usually filled by a high school student. <br /> <br />Morrison advised the information present to COuncil was proposed as guidelines <br />for the 1988 budget; finance committee meetings and budget sessions would <br />provide further information for Council review. Morrison commented that the <br />employees have not received a salary increase for 1987, as the union contract <br />has not been settled. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hansen preferred the seasonal park and part-time park personnel <br />hourly rate remain at $5.00 for 1988. Council concurred with her <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Council concurred to accept the 1988 Budget GUidelines; commented that they <br />would question specific items at future budget meetings. <br /> <br />RESTAURANT LICENSE; <br />CHINA WOK, SHAN.SOR. <br /> <br />Moved by Hansen, seconded by Winiecki, that Council <br />approve the Restaurant License for China Wok, to be <br />located at Shannon Square on Lexington Avenue. Motion <br />carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />CLAIMS & PAYROLL <br /> <br />Moved by Hansen, seconded by Peck, that Council <br />approve Claims and Payroll as submitted. Motion <br />carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Moved by Peck, seconded by Winiecki, that the meeting <br />be adjourned at 11:59 p.m. Motion carried.
