<br />Minutes of the RegUlajltouncil Meeting, <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />June 8, 1987 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RES. 1/87-27; <br />RES. 1/87-28; <br />SEW/WATER INCR. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator explained that these Resolutions <br />would formalize the previously approved rate increases. <br /> <br />Moved by Hansen, seconded by Peck, that Council approve <br />Resolution No. 87-27; RESOLUTION REVISING SEWER UTILITY RATES, EFFECTIVE JULY <br />1, 1987 and Resolution No. 87-28; RESOLUTION REVISING WATER UTILITY RATES <br />EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1987. Hotion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />SIGN PERMIT: <br />C.P.I. <br /> <br />Council was referred to Deputy Clerk's memorandum of <br />June 3, 1987; relative to a request from Cardiac <br />Pacemakers, Inc., to erect banner signs snd a display <br />event this summer. <br /> <br />,bslloon for a special <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve <br />the use of the 13 Banner Signs, for a period of 8 weeks and at a cost of $25.00 <br />and the use of a display balloon for a period of one day, at a cost of $25.00 <br />at Cardiac Pacemakers, Inc., as further outlined in the Deputy Clerk's <br />memorandum of June 3, 1987. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />REQ. TO ATTEND <br />CLKS. INSTITUTE <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />registration fee <br /> <br />Hoved by Hansen, seconded by Peck, that Council approve <br />the Deputy Clerk's attendance at the Year III Hinnesota <br />Hunicipal Clerks Institute and authorize payment of the <br />and mileage reimbursement. Hotion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />CLAIMS & PAYROLL <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve <br />Claims and Payroll as submitted. <br /> <br />Mayor Woodburn asked why there were two identical checks made payable to the <br />IRS; one was manual. Horrison advised she would review the matter before the <br />checks were mailed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peck questioned the overtime pay for a Public Works employee; <br />Horrison advised that the overtime was due to the damage at a lift station <br />during a thunderstorm. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously.
