Markley of Markley Laboratories, <br />inc. had applied for a conditional use permit fo~ 4606 Old Highway 8 <br />for the purpose of a tasting laboratory on the premises. The legal <br />description of the property Is as follows: <br /> <br />The south 100 feet of the north 860 feey of the <br />west 225 feet of the south~est quarter of the <br />southwest quarter of Section 16, To~nshlp 30, <br />Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney stated that the legal notice had been published and <br />the required notices mailed. <br /> <br />Mayor Nethercut read an excerpt from the Planning Commission minutes <br />of the meetIng of March 22, 1966, which recommended approval of the <br />conditional use permit with the following qualifications: <br /> <br />i. Development be according to site plan submitted 3/22/66. <br />2. Odor and noise not to become objectIonable to neighbors. <br />3. Employees not to exceed 6 In number (Including Mr, Markley <br />and son). <br />4. Live load limit not to be Glotceeded. <br />5. Any sign must be set back 5 feet from the frD~t property iin~, <br />-6. All refuse be kept Indoors. <br />7. Garage be kept locked when not attended. <br />8. Michael Lyons, attorney for the \Hnklers, fee owners of the property, ~las <br />present In behalf of the Wlnklers to assure that the charactsr of the <br />building Is not altered which ~ould devaluate the property. He explained <br />that he understood that the property was presently under Contract for Deed <br />sale to the Chrlstlansons. <br /> <br />Markley stated he Is buying from 'Christianson and 15 also assuming <br />Winkler's contract In the amount of $8,206.00. ,Mr. Lyons believes tho <br />original contract price to be about $14,000.00. <br /> <br />Mr. Markley assured Mr. Lyons that the buildings ~I!I noy be damaged <br />nor structurally changed. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br />~ <br />
