Courtney, Engineer <br />Donald lund, Building Inspector Clay Kelley, Admin- <br />Istrative Clerk lorralne Stromquist, and Deputy <br />Clerk Florence Honan. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />The mlnu'i'es 0'1 the regular council meeting of March 14, 1966, wers <br />approved as amended. <br /> <br />The minutes of the special council meeting of March 21, 1966, were <br />approved as submitted. <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney had a question concerning the means by ~hlch a sp9clal <br />use permit was originally granted to Mrs. Goldie Anderson to operata a <br />beauty shop from her home at 1905 Glenpaul Avenue. The Clerk was request- <br />ed to check back on the minutes for this information. <br /> <br />Proposed Town Houses - Johannasburq <br /> <br />Clark lorrslne Stromquist read a letter, dated Msrch 22, 1966, from <br />Andrews Allan statln~ that he would be willing to conduct informational <br />meetings for the residents before council consideration of his proposal <br />to construct town houses on the east side of Lake Johsnna. Mayor <br />Nethercut e~plarned that many residents had requested more information <br />concerning this development snd believes It 15 a good suggestion. <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney read a letter from Mr. Allen, dated March 17, 1966, <br />which requested rezoning of the area. Attachments gave the legsl <br />description of the property and aiso property owners within 250' of <br />the property. <br /> <br />There was much discussion by the residents present, the Council, Village <br />Attorney Courtney and Richard Murrsy - Attorney for Peter Lamettl, one <br />of the adJscent land owners. <br /> <br />Mayor Nethercut called for a recess at 9:25 p.m. and the meeting was <br />resumed at 9:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Trustee Hoffmann moved that two informational type meetings be held <br />during the month of April at lake Johanna Elementary School; these meet- <br />Ings to be held during the week and starting at 8:00 p.m. \'1I'j-h Village <br />Attorney Courtney acting as moderator and C'erl Dale, Village Plannel', <br />-~ be present to answer questions. Motion seconded by Tr~stee Olmen; <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />. <br />Attorney Courtney stated that the fact shoul6 be emphss$zed that neither <br />of these meetings will be a public hearIng. <br /> <br />Twin City Trailer Park <br /> <br />Engineer Bruce Patterson and Mr. Adams, owner of the Twin City Trsuler <br />Park ~ere present. Clerk lorralne Stromquist read Engineer Lund's re- <br />port, dated March 22, 1966, on this matter. In reply to quest&ons men- <br />tIoned In the report, Mr. Patterson stated that the owners tllll provide <br />space tor 2 cars per unit.
