CUMMINGS LANE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on January 10, <br /> <br />1966 Banister Engineering Co. has prepared plans and specifications for the <br /> <br />improvement of Cummings Lane between its intersection with Snelling Avenue <br /> <br />and the easterly termination of said Cummings Lane by constructing thereon <br /> <br />a bituminous-surfaced roadway to the width of twenty-eight (28) feet <br /> <br />throughout, and said plans and specifications have now been submitted to <br /> <br />the Council for approval, <br /> <br />NOW TlIEBEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Arden <br /> <br />Rills that said plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached <br /> <br />hereto and placed on file herein, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />BE IT FllRXBER RESOLVED, that the Administrative Clerk shall prepare <br /> <br />and cause to be inserted in the official Village newspaper an advertisement <br /> <br />for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans <br /> <br />and specifications. Said advertisement shall be published once, not later <br /> <br />than April 8, 1966, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that <br /> <br /> <br />bids will be received and opened by an authorized representative of the <br /> <br />Council at 10 0' clock A.Me, central standard time, Monday, April 25, 1966 <br />in the Village Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and <br /> <br />filed with the Clerk before 10 o'clock A.M., central standard time, Monday, <br /> <br />April 25, 1966, and bids must be accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />or certified check payable to the Village of Arden Rills in an amount of <br /> <br />at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council this--1 '-f day of March, 1966. <br /> <br />J1rf~ I': ~ <br />ROBERT E.
