<br />~ <br /> <br />. <br />'.. , ',ff <br /> <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />Village of Arden Hills <br />Monday - February 14, 1966 - 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Nethercut called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Cal I: Present - Mayor Nethercut. Trustees Crepeau and Olmen. <br /> <br />Absent - Trustees Hoffmann and BJorndahl <br /> <br />Also Present - Administrative Clerk torralne Stromquist, <br />Deputy Clerk Florence Honan. Village Attorney <br />Vincent P. Courtney. Engineer Donald I.und and <br />Treasurer Worth G. Read. <br /> <br />-e <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />The minutes of the regular council meeting of January 31, 1966, were <br />approved as amended. <br /> <br />PublIc Hearln~ - Street Vaeatlon <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney explaIned that a petitIon had been received from <br />Warren Hanson and his wife requesting the vacation of a road ease- <br />ment over a portion of hIs property; the proper publicatIon and <br />notices have been given to hold this publIc hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Nethercut requested comments from proponents or opponents of the <br />vacation. There was no response. <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney Informed the Council that he had written a letter <br />explaining that the road Is not on the Hanson property as shown.on the <br />survey and Mr. Hanson's attorney seemed to be In agreement with this. <br />He stated that Mr. Hanson has been advised of the situation and the <br />petitioners are no longer Interested under the circumstances. Carl <br />Dale and the PlannIng CommIssIon question the advisability of the <br />vacation. <br /> <br />As ~ecommended by Attorney Courtney, Trustee Crepeau moved that the <br />hea~lng be closed and the matfer tabled until the next council meeting <br />to allow the Planning CommissIon to report on the matter; seconded by <br />Trustee Olmen; motIon carried. <br /> <br />Warren Hansen arrived at the meetIng after the publIc hearing was closed. <br />Mayo~ Nethercut explaIned the procedure taken. Mr. Hansen reminded the <br />CouncIl that his building permit Is being wIthheld untIl this matter Is <br />cleared.
