Mayor Nethsrcut Informed <br />them that Trustee BJorndahl would be happy to meet with the residents <br />for dIscussion. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. lagerstrom, Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Comml~tee, was <br />present and stated that there are no plans for use of this area this <br />summer, the warming house will be locked during the summer, the area <br />~III be used only 5-6 weeks during the skating season. He Informed <br />the residents that the problems mentioned will be brought to the <br />attention of the Parks and Recreation Com~lttee whIch will meet to- <br />morrow night and Inlllted anyone Interested to attend 'rhe IilfiHl'l'lng. <br /> <br />Trustee Crepeau <br /> <br />, <br />! <br /> <br />Mrs. Carolyn Tlssol registered a complaint that vehIcles have made a <br />driveway off County Road E to the playground whIch Is causing a <br />dangerous situation, Because of the raise In grade from the playground <br />to the road, cars exit at an accelerated speed which could cause an <br />accident with cars trevelllng on County Road E. <br /> <br />Trustee Crepeau Informed the Council that the Public Safety Committee <br />strongly recommends fencing along County Road E and possibly along <br />the free~ay as a safety precaution. ' , <br /> <br />Shorewood Hills Road Easement <br /> <br />Trusi"ee Crepeau moved the adoptIon of a resolution, as submitted <br />by Attorney Courtney and attached, releasing road easement rights <br />on certain described lots on Falrlllew 'Avenue, Delll/lew Avenue ~nd Glen- <br />vletl Avenue, sInce the easemeni' has exp:lred accordIng to its 'terms; <br />seconded by Trustee Olmen: motIon carrIed. <br /> <br />Clerk requested to send a copy of the resolution to Russell Underdahl, <br />3935 Glonl/lew Avenue, who requested thIs release. AddItional copies <br />are on file for other Interested property owners. <br /> <br />Houle Addition Improvements <br /> <br />Copies of a letter, dated January 25, 1966, from Attorney John Bell <br />In behalf of Dr. Houle, had been sent to Attorney Courtney and the <br />Council. Said letter requested consideration for relmbursemeot of sewer <br />and road Improvements costs paid by Dr. Houle In the Houle Addition <br />since other property In Valentine Hills has benefited from the Improve- <br />ments. ' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney explained In his letter, dated February 14, 1966, that <br />assessments cannot be legally levied against property after an Improve- <br />'ment has been estab Ilshed.
