F. KENNEDY <br />FOR SERVICES TO ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, D. F. Kennedy has served as a Trustee of the Village <br />of Arden H111~ from 1959 until 1962, and subsequently as the third <br />May?r ~f the Village of Arden Hills In 1963, 1964 and 1965 and <br />WHEREAS after these years of Village servIce Mr. Kennedy has <br />decided_to retire from the Council, and <br />WHEREAS during his years on the Council, with hIS cooperation <br />as Trustee and u'nder his leadership as Mayor, Arden Hills has sub- <br />stantially completed Its sewer program In the southern portion of <br />the Village and has now undertaken further studIes with reference <br />to a sewer pr!>gram I n the northern portion of the VIllage, and <br />WHEREAS the 101 Plann'ng Program has been substantIally com- <br />pleted and consIderable progress has been made In the field of <br />comprehensive lon~-range planhlng for Arden HIlls, and <br />WHEREAS during Mr. Kennedy's term of service as Mayor the <br />Control Data plant was established In Arden-Hills, and <br />WHEREAS durIng his entire servIce as Trustee and Mayor of <br />Arden HIli sO. F. Kennedy has ab I y and consc I ent I ous ly performed <br />hIs responsible clv.lcdutles, and has, greatly benefited the <br />Flllage by his leadershIp In promotlllg the Interests of Arden HIlls, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS I tIs recogn I zed that the compensat I on rece I ved. by <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Kennedy as Trustee and Mayor Isln no way compensatory for the <br /> <br /> <br />consIderable amount of tIme whIch he has necessarIly spent In the <br /> <br /> <br />service of the VIllage, <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />-1- <br />
