Lillquist: <br /> I have conducted a preliminary plan review of the proposed Arden Hills <br /> Clinic and find the following items should be addressed for Code approval: <br /> 1. Atrium/Clear Story <br /> A. Smoke control system. A mechanically operated air-handling system <br /> shall be installed that will exhaust smoke either entering or <br />. developing within the atrium. \Sec. 1715. (b) . <br /> B. Enclosure of Atria. Atria shall be separated from adjacent spaces <br /> by not less than one-hour fire resistant construction. (Sec. <br /> 1715_ (c). <br /> 2. Roof system. Manufacturer's name anu model number. (Sec. 3202.(b). <br /> 3. Fire shutters and ~on Door. Manufacturer's name and model number. <br /> (Sec. 1705) . <br /> I.. Glass doors and ~indows designed and installed per Chapter 54 Glass <br /> and Glazing. <br /> 5. Medical Gas System. Medical gas systems shall be installed and <br /> maintained in accordance with the ,'ire Code. The medical gas storage <br /> room shall be designed per Sec. 702.4. <br /> 6. Drive-thru projection constructed of non-combustible construction. <br /> 7. Roof drain system cannot drain into sanitary system. Minnesota <br /> Plumbing Code, Chap. 4715, Subd. 2700. <br /> 8. Exit corridors. One hour construction when occ.upant load is greater <br /> than 100. Chap. 33, Sec. 3305(g) , exception 5. <br />. g. Exit lighting and signage.
