The <br /> residents of the city are upper middle class and have quite high <br /> expectations from their city government. As the program supervisor in the <br /> parks and recreation department, you are responsible for development and <br /> implementation of the recreation program including aquatics, skating rink <br /> supervision, youth and adult athletics and special interest programs. <br /> THE SITUATION <br /> It is 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 13. You have just received a phone call <br /> informing you that a legislative hearing at the State Capitol some 300 <br /> miles away has been rescheduled and you must leave your office no later <br /> than 5:00 P.M. Friday to arrive on time. While you are there, you will be <br /> attending to other city business and must plan to spend the following week <br /> away from the office, returning Friday, the 20th. <br /> YOU1- boss is out of town but will return on Monday. The department <br /> secretary is the only other person working in the office this afternoon. <br /> As you are making preparations to leave, you turn to your Hin-basket" and <br /> discover the following items which will need attention prior to your <br /> departure. <br /> . <br /> . <br />
