MEMORANDUM <br /> ==~==================================================================~==== <br /> DATE: March 6, 1990 <br /> TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> FROM: Mary Ann DeLaRosa, Administrative Secretary <br /> SUBJECT: Vacation of Excess Right-of-Way <br /> -------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> -------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> A public hearing has been scheduled for March 12, at 7:30 P.M. to consider <br /> vacating the excess right-of-way along County Road E-2 and New Brighton <br /> Road. Both the Engineer and Attorney see no need for the City to retain <br /> ownership of this parcel, therefore the attached Resolution has been <br /> prepared, vacating the excess right-af-way. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends approval of the proposed vacation and adoption of the <br /> attached Resolution. (Note: Council may wish to defer action until Case <br />. No. 88-04, Munson Subdivision, under Item #7, Unfinished and New Business, <br /> is discussed). <br /> ACTION REQUIRED: <br /> Council should open the public hearing, ask for questions or comments from <br /> the audience, close the public hearing and, if Council concurs with the <br /> staff recommendation, adopt Resolution No. 90-08, "RESOLUTION VACATING <br /> EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY". <br /> GRB:madlr <br /> attachment <br />. <br />
