REVIEW Chair Barbara Piotrowski reported on the recent meetings <br /> of the Zoning Code Review Subcommittee. She indicated it <br /> would be easier to coordinate amendments if the code were printed on standard <br /> size paper; noted she has discussed alternatives for providing the standard paper <br /> with the Zoning Administrator. <br /> Member Martin noted another major problem is cross-referencing the code; <br /> suggested the cross-referencing would be easier if the code were transferred to a <br /> word processor and an index was provided to the committee. <br /> WETLANDS STUDY Chair Peter Martin reported no meetings have been <br /> scheduled for this subcommittee; noted several wetland <br /> issues have been discussed in conjunction with the zoning code study which should <br /> be resolved prior to the wetland study. <br /> Chairman Probst thanked the subcommittee Chairpersons for their reports. <br /> SNOW REMOVAL; Member Winiecki questioned if the City has a sidewalk <br /> SIDEWALKS snow removal policy and responsibility for removal of <br /> snow in the business areas of Arden Hills. <br /> Deputy Clerk raga reported the Public Works Supervisor has recently drafted a . <br /> snow plowing policy which addresses the problem of sidewalk snow removal. She <br /> explained other communities place the responsibility for sidewalk snow removal <br /> with the property owner; in some communities the business associations contract <br /> with one person for removal of snow along the sidewalks in the business areas. <br /> rago suggested this matter be discussed by the Clerk Administrator at a Chamber <br /> of Commerce meeting. <br /> COUNCIL REPORT Councilmember Nancy Hansen reported on Council actions <br /> relating to items of interest to the Commission. <br /> ADJOURN Woodburn moved, seconded by Winiecki, that the meeting be <br /> adjourned at 9:10 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
